I am a Marshall County native soil consultant dedicated to helping landowners, builders, and developers navigate the complexities of environmental regulations and land development.

My Background & Education

My journey into environmental science began at the University of Memphis. While earning my undergraduate degree, I conducted field research in Overton Park. This unique project involved tracking the native copperhead population—specifically monitoring their mating, dietary, and travel patterns within an urban forest ecosystem. This hands-on research sharpened my field methodology, data collection skills, and appreciation for local ecosystems.

To transition my environmental passion into specialized soil science, I attended Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). There, I completed the coursework required to meet the qualification standards set by the State of Tennessee.

Hands-On Expertise

Following my education, I completed a comprehensive, three-year soil apprenticeship in Williamson County. Training under one of the region’s premier soil scientists, I gained deep expertise in soil mapping, septic suitability evaluations, and TDEC regulatory compliance.
